    Techvantage is seeking a visionary leader for AI Research to lead the company’s efforts in leveraging cutting-edge AI technologies, tools, and frameworks to maximize productivity and innovation. This role focuses on identifying and integrating the latest advancements in AI, optimizing development infrastructure, ensuring adherence to Safe AI practices, and driving groundbreaking research that positions Techvantage at the forefront of AI innovation.


What we are looking from an ideal candidate?

    AI Tools and Productivity Enhancement

    • Identify and implement AI-powered development tools (e.g., Pythagora, Cursor, Copilot, Devin) to augment developer and AI engineer productivity, achieving a measurable 10X capacity improvement.
    • Continuously monitor and refine the impact of these tools, ensuring sustained productivity gains across the organization.

    AI Research and Development

    • Track and integrate state-of-the-art advancements in AI, including emerging LLMs, lightweight models, and agentic AI environments.
    • Conduct research on cost optimization strategies for AI development, including infrastructure fine-tuning and GPU utilization.
    • Develop and test lightweight LLMs capable of running on minimal hardware platforms such as Jetson Nano or ORIN.
    • Establish and maintain a controlled AI development environment for developers, evolving it to incorporate the latest tools and practices.
    • Oversee the functioning of the AI lab

    Safe AI and Compliance

    • Drive adoption of Safe AI practices by implementing robust guardrails aligned with global regulations such as the EU AI Act.
    • Create guidelines and tools that enable developers to build AI solutions responsibly and securely.

    Operational Excellence

    • Build and maintain a state-of-the-art ML and LLM Ops pipeline for Techvantage’s products and client projects, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
    • Optimize costs and infrastructure for model training and inference using cutting-edge platforms and tools.

    Partnerships and Collaboration

    • Develop strategic partnerships with AI leaders, including AWS, Microsoft, Google, OpenAI, Planda.ai, Groq, and others, to maximize value and innovation.
    • Utilize partnerships to access the latest tools, platforms, and expertise to enhance Techvantage’s AI capabilities.

    Innovation and IP Creation

    • Work closely with the leadership team to file at least one AI-related patent annually, showcasing Techvantage’s innovation in the AI space.
    • Foster a culture of creativity and innovation within the AI research team.

What skills do you need?

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
    • 10+ years of experience in AI research and development, with a proven track record of leading high-impact projects.
    • Deep understanding of LLMs, ML Ops, and AI infrastructure optimization.
    • Strong knowledge of Safe AI practices and global compliance standards such as the EU AI Act.
    • Experience in scaling developer productivity using AI tools.
    • Demonstrated ability to file patents or lead innovative research initiatives.
    • Strong communication and leadership skills to collaborate across teams and with external partners.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Hands-on experience with lightweight LLMs and AI development on minimal hardware.
    • Familiarity with agentic AI environments and their integration into development pipelines.
    • Proven ability to establish and maintain high-value partnerships with leading AI providers.
