Associate System Admin

    Techvantage Analytics is a fast-growing AI services and product engineering company specializing in Analytics, Machine Learning, and AI-based solutions. We are seeking a versatile and experienced System Administrator with expertise in managing IT infrastructure, cloud environments, and deployment pipelines. The ideal candidate will also have hands-on experience with database management and exposure to AI-driven environments. This role involves maintaining robust system operations, ensuring data integrity, and supporting AI/ML workflows for scalable and secure solutions.


What we are looking from an ideal candidate?

    System Maintenance and Administration:

    • Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and enterprise applications.
    • Monitor system performance to ensure optimal uptime and minimal disruptions.

    Database Management:

    • Manage databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB, including installation, configuration, and optimization.
    • Ensure database security, backup, and recovery processes are in place.

    Cloud Infrastructure Management:

    • Configure and manage cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for deployment, scaling, and monitoring.
    • Optimize cloud resource utilization to balance cost and performance.

    Deployment and Automation:

    • Develop and manage deployment pipelines for applications and services.
    • Automate repetitive tasks using scripting languages or automation tools to improve efficiency.

    AI Environment Support:

    • Collaborate with AI/ML teams to set up and maintain infrastructure for model training and deployment.
    • Manage high-performance computing resources, including GPU-enabled systems.

    Network Administration:

    • Configure and manage LAN/WAN, routers, switches, and firewalls for secure and reliable connectivity.
    • Monitor and troubleshoot network-related issues.

    Security and Backup:

    • Implement security protocols to safeguard systems and databases against vulnerabilities.
    • Perform regular backups of systems and databases to ensure disaster recovery readiness.

    User Support:

    • Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
    • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.

    Troubleshooting and Documentation:

    • Diagnose and resolve system, database, and network issues promptly.
    • Maintain detailed documentation for configurations, deployments, and incident resolutions.

    Collaboration:

    • Work closely with development, DevOps, and AI teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and databases.
    • Contribute to cross-functional projects, leveraging database and system administration expertise.

Preferred Skills:

What skills do you need?

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • 2-4 years of experience in system administration, database management, cloud infrastructure, and deployments.
    • Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux) and virtualization tools (VMware, Hyper-V).
    • Hands-on experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar.
    • Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
    • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and other network protocols.
    • Exposure to AI/ML environments and tools for managing compute resources.
    • Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
    • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and tools.
    • Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.


    Preferred Certifications:

    • CompTIA Network+ or Security+
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
    • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
    • Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA
    • Certified Database Administrator (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB certifications)
